Jacob Casswell My only regret is that I didn’t try sooner.
Having Mild Cerebral Palsy. I came into Jiu Jitsu not knowing what to expect and carried many anxieties. Would I be able to perform all of the movements? Would I be able to become at least competent? Upon my first class at Gracie Barra Central Coast, I quick found my fears to be utterly ridiculous. As in Jiu Jitsu there are endless possibilities, so if you are unable to perform specific techniques chances are there are at least a dozen different ways to do it, the art is indeed for everyone. The team at GB provide a friendly atmosphere and are extremely knowledgeable and can find a technique that works for you. If you are considering a class but feel that you are maybe too old, out of shape etc.Trust me you are not, and I strongly encourage you to take the first step and give it a try. My only regret is that I didn’t try sooner.
